“Thoughts and Aphorisms”
In or around 1913, Sri Aurobindo wrote 552 aphorisms in a single notebook. In May 1915 and May 1916 he published ten of them in the monthly review Arya. (These ten are included in the “Thoughts and Glimpses”.) The 542 remaining aphorisms, plus five others written in a different notebook, make up the “Thoughts and Aphorisms”.
