“The Prince of Edur”
Sri Aurobindo wrote the three acts of this incomplete play between 28 January and 1 February 1907 from his family’s house in Deoghar, Bihar, during a brief respite from his political activities. The plot is based loosely on the life of Bappa Rawal, the eighth-century Rajput hero.
