Instructions to change an existing Outlook2007 setup.

  1. Start Microsoft Outlook 2007. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings...

  2. In the Account Settings window go to the E-mail tab. With a single-left-click highlight your existing Auroville mail account (the entry could be pop.rediffmailpro.com or similar). Now click on "Change"
  3. In the "Email Account" dialog box under Server Information fill in "pop.auroville.org.in" for Incoming mail server and "smtp.auroville.org.in" for Outgoing mail server.
  4. Click on "Test Account Settings" to check your settings.
  5. Now click on "More Settings" and select the "General" tab. Replace the existing entry with "pop.auroville.org.in"
  6. Then click on the "Outgoing Server" tab. Select the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" check-box, then "Use same settings as my incoming mail server". Then click "OK"
  7. Click "Next"
  8. Click "Finish" to close the E-mail Accounts dialog box.
  9. Click "Close"
