SaraCon is the place to come for the electric bicycle rental.
The service is offered by Quiet Transport in SaraCon: Phone is 262 2973
The price is Rs 500/week. We request the person renting the vehicle to bring it back after a week to recheck that everything is a ok. After which they can take it back for more time if desired. This is requested of all the persons.

We also request everyone to treat these vehicles with care and give us feedback on the experience, use, convenience etc.

The charging is done using a regular 220v outlet, be it from TNEB or solar station outside Solar Kitchen. It take approximately half a unit or about Rs 2.50 upto max Rs 3.00 to charge. It take 8 hours to charge fully. Best is to charge every night even though only a few kilometers are driven in a day. Totally the distance available on a single charge is about 30 to 35 km.
