Instructions to change an existing Courier set-up

Start the Courier mail program. Click the START button in Windows, then go to ALL PROGRAMS, and then click Courier Email and again Courier Email.<br>

1. In the left pane single-left-click on Accounts
   
   
   
   
2. In the middle pane double-left-click on the email account (you may have several entries here) you want to reconfigure.
   
   
   
   
3. The "Properties for" window will pop up. Single-left-click on the "Mail Server" tab. Under Incoming Mail Server fill in your username into the User ID field and "pop.auroville.org.in" into the Server name field. Then single-left-click on "Edit".
   
   
   
   
4. A "SMTP Server List" window will pop up.
   
   
   
   
5. Single-left-click on "smtp.rediffmailpro.com", then click on Edit. A window called "Add/Edit SMTP Server" will pop up.

6. In the field Server Name enter "smtp.auroville.org.in". Then click on User Info. An "Authentication User Information" window will pop up. Make sure under "Authentication method:" "Use POP account" is selected. The click OK till all pop-up windows are closed.
   
   
   
   
7. Your mail account is now configured. You will be asked to enter you new passwords when receiving and sending mail. There is a checkmark to be set if you want Courier to remember them.
